After resizing your brass you can quickly drop a case into the Instant Indicator to check shoulder setback (e.g. you want to bump the shoulder back by 0.002" for optimal chamber fit). You can also use it after bullet seating to ensure OAL consistency for tight groups.

The Redding Instant Indicator is a benchrest-quality measurement tool designed specifically for the 6.5 PRC cartridge. It comes pre-set with:

  What It Measures:

1. Headspace from the datum line on the case shoulder (to check how much the shoulder is bumped back after resizing).

4. Cartridge overall length (OAL) consistency.
